INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT REPORT 2025 Another objective imposed by national and community legislation is the obligation for non-reusable beverage packaging to be integrated into a dedicated recycling circuit with a deposit and refund system. The evolution of customer service packaging specifications, namely the type of material and the degree of incorporation of recycled material, is essentially the responsibility of the packaging and product producers purchased by the company. The Group currently carries out waste separation – paper, plastic, glass, bio-waste and unsorted waste – in its restaurants, production units and offices. The challenge for the coming years is to increase the quality of separation and thus reduce the proportion of unsorted waste. To this end, it plans to invest in waste separation equipment for customer areas and carry out training actions for employees and awareness actions aimed at customers. By 2025, all used cooking oil was destined for biodiesel production, and the intention is to maintain current performance in the coming years.
