Ad- ditionally, it reviews, on a semi-annual basis, the risk management sys- tem and the internal control system, with the aim of ensuring that the risks undertaken by the Company are aligned with the objectives set by the Board of Directors. In this regard, the Supervisory Board may, if it deems appropriate, provide its opinion on the work plans and resources allocated to internal control functions, including risk management func- tions, proposing any adjustments to the operational framework of such management when deemed necessary, and has access, at all times and in accordance with applicable legal limits, to the information required for this purpose. - Verify the accuracy of the accounting documents, accompanying the process of preparation and disclosure of financial information, and pre- senting recommendations in order to ensure its integrity, as well as, within the scope of its more general supervisory powers, of the non- financial information; - Supervise the accounts review; - Receive notifications of irregularities presented by shareholders, Group employees or others; - To prepare an annual report on its audit action addressed at sharehold- ers, including the description of the supervisory activity carried out, any detected constraints and provide an opinion on the report and ac- counts, as well as on the proposals presented by the management; Pursuant to its relevant Rules of Procedure and in accordance with Arti- cle 420, paragraph 2, point d) of the Companies Code, it is also respon- sible for propose to the General Meeting the appointment of the statu- tory auditor and supervise its independence, particularly as regards the provision of additional services, observing the verification procedures designed to ensure compliance with the independence requirements applicable to the statutory auditor, being able, if it so decide, as there is just cause for the purpose, to propose its dismissal or the termination of the service provision contract.
