IBERSOL | Integrated Management Report 2022
ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE ACTION CO 2 emissions In Portugal, in 2022 compared to 2019, the previous pre-pandem- ic year, the indirect CO 2 emissions associated with electricity con- sumption, in total value, increased due to the growth in activity, but per point of sale they reduced slightly. Also noteworthy in 2022 is a significant increase compared to previous years in CO 2 emissions avoided with renewable energy production, due to the installation of photovoltaic panels in more locations. The direct C0 2 emissions associated with gas consumption in Portu- gal per point of sale show, in trend, relative stability.
