consumption, the Group is yet able to keep a unique dynamics and increase de sales, both in Portugal and in Spain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KFC\u00a0<\/strong>keeps its market share and opens new units, as did the brands\u00a0<strong>Pizza Hut<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Pans &amp; Company<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Burger King<\/strong>. In this context, we should point out the continuation of the investment on the market of the Autonomous Regions, with five openings. In Spain, sales kept rising, as did the expansion of the\u00a0<strong>Pasta Caff\u00e9<\/strong> restaurants.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><section  class='av_textblock_section av-av_textblock-0366cc7376be6c9e82a3e9cc8987b64f '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><div  class='hr av-av_hr-65856424cbad8c064bc72974be910e19 hr-full  avia-builder-el-12  el_before_av_hr  avia-builder-el-first  hr-shadow'><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<h2><strong>2004<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A year that was marked by growth, both in Portugal and in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>New\u00a0<strong>Pizza Hut<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Pans &amp; Company<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Burger King<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Pasta Caff\u00e9<\/strong> units were opened, and the Group started in this year the expansion process towards the interior.<\/p>\n<p>The Group grows at a double-digit rate, registering strong improvement of the brands\u00a0<strong>Pizza Hut<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Pans &amp; Company\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Burger King<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In Spain, the growth is supported by the performance of the brand <strong>Pizza M\u00f3vi<\/strong>l and by the expansion of the <strong>Pasta Caff\u00e9<\/strong> restaurants<\/p>\n<div  class='hr av-av_hr-65856424cbad8c064bc72974be910e19 hr-full  avia-builder-el-13  el_after_av_hr  el_before_av_hr  hr-shadow'><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<h2><strong>2003<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In\u00a02003, the <strong>Ibersol Group<\/strong> operated 303 units, of which 265 were own brands and 38 were franchising. Of this universe, 69 were based in Spain: 40 own brands and 29 franchised brands.<\/p>\n<div  class='hr av-av_hr-65856424cbad8c064bc72974be910e19 hr-full  avia-builder-el-14  el_after_av_hr  el_before_av_hr  hr-shadow'><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<h2><strong>2002<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Opening of the first Bocatta at Norteshopping and Colombo Shopping Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Ibersol Group<\/strong> has acquired, in\u00a02012,\u00a0most of the share capital of Vidisco, which operated in Spain 55 businesses under the name\u00a0Pizza M\u00f3vil,\u00a0and also acquired 60% of the share capital of the company Restmon Portugal, which owns the franchising rights for the Portuguese territory of the brand\u00a0Cantina Mariachi, owned by the group Restmon Espanha. By the end of the year, the Ibersol Group operated 257 units belonging to the different concepts, of which 228 are own brands and 29 are franchised brands. Of this universe, 59 are based in Spain: 40 own brands and 19 franchised brands.<\/p>\n<p>The sales of the Group totalled 125 million Euros, giving work to 3,800 employees in Portugal and nearly 900 in Spain.<\/p>\n<div  class='hr av-av_hr-65856424cbad8c064bc72974be910e19 hr-full  avia-builder-el-15  el_after_av_hr  avia-builder-el-last  hr-shadow'><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<h2><strong>2001<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Opening of the first Burger King at Norteshopping<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of\u00a02001,\u00a0the <strong>Ibersol Group<\/strong> registered a total turnover of 96.7 million Euros and operated in 162 units belonging to the different concepts.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the number of employees increased proportionally, and reached this year approx. 3,400 employees, what made the Group one of the most important employers of the country. For <strong>Ibersol<\/strong>, Quality is an essential requirement for its operation and success, and it is the distinguishing factor of the Group. Having this in mind, Ibersol has set up its own\u00a0Quality System,\u00a0identifying and systematizing the most important processes of its business, and assigning the corresponding responsibilities, with the purpose of getting a more effective management of the horizontal work
